SYNOPSIS:

 

On the eve of his redeployment to Iraq, Lance Corporal Jeremy Bleaks wants to spend his last day with girlfriend Phoebe and best friend Ryan hanging out around town.

 

When Jeremy and friends go to a liquor store to buy booze for the night, Jeremy’s Arabic speaking skills come in handy as he overhears store clerk Majid talk about at terrorist plot. Things get out of hand and the three friends end up kidnapping Majid and taking him to Ryan’s place for interrogation. Majid denies the terrorist plot but Jeremy believes otherwise and uses physical force to extract information. Jeremy leaves with Phoebe back to the liquor store and there finds Majid’s brother and nephew making what seems like plans for a terrorist attack.

 

After a brief confrontation, Jeremy shoots the two Arab men dead. When he returns to Ryan’s, Jeremy tortures Majid in order to extract information on a fourth suspect supposed to be the suicide bomber. But is this terrorist attack real or a figment of Jeremy’s imagination? Ryan and Phoebe are not sure and neither is the audience. With the passing of every minute, Jeremy sinks deeper into a state of psychosis because on the night of his redeployment, the war may have already started for him... one day too soon.
